I have composed pieces for ensembles, bands and soloists, as well as song arrangements for singers, such as Kelli Ali, who I co-wrote and recorded arrangements for her 'Butterfly' album.
In educational settings I have written pieces for choirs, ensembles and for use by schools and music services.
I have also worked as musical director and composer for several theatre productions including at the Sherman Theatre Cardiff, and as musical director, arranger and performer with theatre companies including Between The Lines Theatre Company for full runs of shows at the Edinburgh Festival.
Working as a freelance Music Editor and Editorial Assistant and Project Manager for SingUp at Faber Music Ltd., I worked with several composers and choirs to commission, edit and produce songs and resources specifically designed for children with SEN, alongside choir recordings, SEN resources and published scores.
This large-scale project included input from students and guest musicians, and also involved working closely with charities including Music and the Deaf, Drake Music, Makaton and charities working with music in PRUs. The songs were published and recorded, and also performed by schools in a large concert in Newcastle.
